This episode, a discussion about new uses for an old style descends into discussion of modern 8-bit art, lazy design, corner cutting and the difference between ‘can’ and ‘should’.
Then, in the Mouthwash, the discussion turns to sports games. Josh tries to argue that they have value for non sports fans. Luke tries to argue that the current annual release model is exploitative. Both sides argue that the jock vs nerd debate is tired.
I’d like to say a final thank you to our Sound Engineer Trevor, who is moving on to focus on real-life responsibilities. He taught me everything I know about recording and editing. Hopefully my work can be as good as his someday. His contribution will be missed.
